About Us

Husband's version of our story:

It is difficult for me to talk about my story. Watching Animal Planet and National Geographic was my childhood pastime. Steve Irwin was my childhood hero. I love anything outdoors. My love of nature is a powerful force within me. My previous fields of work created an internal battle with this love of nature. Saving bees allows me to look out for the "little guy" (girls). This is now my full time job.

Wife's version of our story:

We are a family of 5; husband, wife, and 3 children. We started our beekeeping adventure in 2020. We had been buying local honey for allergies and were interested in having our own bees. We researched and priced out our options. We decided on honey bee removal.

We bought all of our gear, researched how to remove, and waited for the right time. It was so exciting!

We removed a large wooden spool full of bees from a vacant lot. Loaded it in the truck and brought it home to our small residential neighborhood. The next morning we were in awe. We had done it! We saved the bees! Long story short, our first bees left us that day. They "absconded". We were crushed. We sought more knowledge on the reason of departure.... Fast forward to today, in 3 years (2023) my husband has done over 300 bee removals and currently has over 200 bee colonies in the Brazoria County, Galveston County, and Harris County areas. We are proud to be a part of saving the bees and look forward to a lifetime of beekeeping!
